Faith

At times we may feel a certain discouragement in the face of the weakening and even abandonment of the faith which we see in our secularised societies. It is certainly important to find new channels to communicate the evangelical truth to the men and women of our time, but since the essential content of Christian announcement always remains the same, it is necessary to return to its original source, to Jesus Christ, who 'is the same yesterday and today and forever'.

Let us ask the Mother of God to obtain for us the gift of a mature faith: a faith that we would like to resemble hers as far as possible; a clear, genuine, humble ,and at the same time, courageous faith, steeped in hope and enthusiasm for the Kingdom of God; a faith devoid of all fatalism and wholly set on cooperating with the divine will in full and joyful obedience and with the absolute certainty that God wants nothing but love and life, always, and for everyone

Faith

We are moving toward a dictatorship of relativism that does not recognize anything as certain and has as its highest goal one’s own ego and one’s own desires.
However, we have a different goal: the Son of God, true man. He is the measure of true humanism. Being an ‘adult’ means having a faith that does not follow the waves of fashion or the latest novelties. An 'adult and mature faith' is deeply rooted in friendship with Christ. It is this friendship that opens us up to all that is good and gives us the knowledge to judge the true from the false, and deceit from truth.
